Braised Greens Dusted with Zombie Breath

Braised greens don’t have to be boring. With Zombie Breath’s garlic-n-onion-forward power and vinegar to cut through the richness, these greens hit all the right undead notes: savory, tangy, and bold.

Serve as a side to grilled meats or enjoy them as a warming, nutritious meal with beans or grains.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch collard greens or kale, chopped

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 1 tbsp Zombie Breath

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 cup broth or water

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onions until translucent.

  2. Add greens and toss to coat.

  3. Sprinkle with Zombie Breath and pour in the vinegar and broth.

  4. Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes until tender.

  5. Uncover and cook off any excess liquid. Season to taste.
