Historical milestone: August to October 2026
The Colorado Department of Agriculture accepted Zombie Spice Rub Company into the inaugural Colorado Proud Trade Show Success Workshop Series in August 2026. The program scheduled workshop sessions for September 15, September 22, September 29 and October 13 before an October 20 pitch event.
A September follow-up confirms ZSR’s participation in the first workshop. The program focused on practical trade-show work, including buyer preparation, booth decisions and the discipline needed to turn an event into a commercial opportunity.
ZSR withdrew from the October 20 pitch. That fact belongs in the record because program acceptance and workshop participation are not the same as competing in or winning the final pitch.
The durable milestone is the learning work itself. ZSR entered a state-supported program, participated in the workshop process and preserved the materials for future retail-event planning.
