Beef gives these burgers structure. Lamb brings richness. Zombie Powder ties the two together with the sweet-to-heat profile that works especially well over live fire.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 tbsp Zombie Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion and your favorite condiments
Directions
- Combine the beef, lamb, Zombie Powder, seasonings, red onion and parsley. Mix just until combined.
- Form into patties sized for your buns.
- Grill over medium-high heat, turning once, until cooked to your preferred doneness.
- Toast the buns briefly on the grill.
- Build with lettuce, tomato, onion and whatever condiments belong on your burger.
Keep it simple: the beef-lamb blend already carries plenty of flavor, so the toppings do not have to do all the work.
