Cooking for others takes time. There are groceries to buy, ingredients to prepare and dishes to wash. Sometimes people arrive late or change their minds about what they want. It would be easier to skip the trouble.
And yet people keep doing it. The work can create a place to gather, celebrate, comfort or simply spend an ordinary evening together. A good meal offers attention that does not need a long explanation.
What stays with us
That belief is part of why we started Zombie Spice Rub. We enjoy flavor, but we care most about what it helps people do. A useful seasoning may save time or give someone confidence to cook for a crowd.
The effort is rarely rewarded with perfect silence and grateful applause. More often, people ask for another serving and keep talking. That is enough.
