It is easy for a company to say community matters. The more useful question is what it does about that belief.
Zombie Spice Rub has adopted a giving philosophy that connects time, expertise, and revenue to causes we care about. The Michael J. Fox Foundation and Parkinson's research are part of that commitment.
Build the habit early
A small business cannot support every worthy cause. Its resources are limited and its needs change as it grows. Those facts make thoughtful commitments important rather than optional.
We believe a business can make room for giving as part of how it operates. That does not have to mean a grand campaign or a photograph at every turn. It means treating the commitment as something real enough to plan for and account for.
Keep the story in proportion
Supporting research does not make ZSR an authority on medical science, and a seasoning blend is not a treatment for any condition. The meaningful part is the support itself and the work being done by scientists, clinicians, patients, and their families.
We make spice blends because we love cooking and the connections around it. We also want the business we build to contribute beyond the next sale. Those ambitions can belong together without turning every jar into a speech.
