Not only do they enhance the food, spices are beneficial for the body. The phytocarbons found in spices help toxins escape through our red blood cells' rigid cell walls. Kinda ironic when incorporating this zombie theme for branding =D

Spices, along with herbs, have been in use since forever ago. From curing ailments and healing wounds, to many other therapeutic purposes.  Each herb and spice has its own set of healthful properties and benefits.

For example, Ginger is known for its ability to soothe an upset belly and is also an effective anti-nausea aid. Ginger contains anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols that can also improve arthritis symptoms in people that have osteoarthritis and even rheumatoid arthritis. 

Interestingly enough, ginger can also promote healthy sweating, making it beneficial to include in your eating pattern when you have a virus. We'll leave you with that!
